Last Gasps of Summer

A few fine and mild days as the summer makes a last gasp, before we plunge headlong into the dark winter. I'm happy to get out my woollens and settle in for evenings of craft projects instead of outside-time, and resigned to commuting with the bike light on, but I'll be looking forward to the days getting longer again. Hopefully the forecast is right and I'll be having a chilly but sunny early-morning ride tomorrow.
